Russian tennis star Daniil Medvedev failed to advance to the semifinals of the 2024 US Open. The Moscow-born player lost in the quarterfinals to Italy's Jannik Sinner in a tough four-set battle.
Sinner, currently ranked as the world’s number one, took the victory with a scoreline of 6-2, 1-6, 6-1, 6-4. The match lasted 2 hours and 41 minutes.
